Magistrații Judecătoriei Chișinău, sediul Ciocana, urmează să decidă astăzi dacă pe numele procurorului general suspendat, Alexandr Stoianoglo, va fi eliberat un mandat de arest pentru 30 de zile, așa cum a solicitat procurorul de caz, Victor Furtună.
Ședința la Judecătoria Chișinău, sediul Ciocana, are loc pe fundalul unui protest condus de deputați socialiști și comuniști mai mult în limba rusă, în cadrul căruia se scandează „Nu dictaturii!”, „Dreptate lui Stoianoglo”, „Vrem Justiție curectă” sau „Jos mafia”.

Potrivit procurorului Furtună, în cadrul urmăririi penale s-a constat că Alexandr Stoianoglo ar fi favorizat un grup criminal organizat, iar din acest motiv nu are cum să fie cercetat în stare de libertate.
Totodată, acesta a explicat de ce avocatul lui Stoianoglo, Vasile Gafton, fost membru al Comisiei Electorale Centrale din partea socialiștilor, nu poate avea o întrevedere tete-a-tete cu clientul său.
„Demersul privind arestul a fost expediat ieri la ora 14:00 către apărare. Partea apărării a avut aproape 24 de ore pentru a lua cunoștință cu toate materialele anexate și demersul respectiv. În proces au mai intervenit doi avocați și au invocat că au nevoie de discuții confidențiale cu clientul lor. Este un drept fundamental, însă există riscul ca persoana să se eschiveze de la urmărirea penală, persoana este reținută, noi nu putem permite fără pază să se deplaseze undeva.
Trebuie să ne asigurăm că persoanei să nu-i fie transmise careva obiecte interzise, el să transmită careva obiecte. S-a permis o întrevedere, însă cu prezența mascaților. Se încearcă manipularea opiniei publice. Domnul Stoianoglo trebuie plasat în arest din mai multe raționamente. Avocatul Vasile Gafton susține că e un abuz, deoarece avocatul are dreptul să aibă discuții confidențiale cu clientul.
„Procurorii nu permit mascaților să iasă din birou, pentru ca eu și clientul meu să avem o întâlnire confidențială. Prin acest fapt se dovedește încă o dată că urmărirea penală se desfășoară cu abuzuri. Apărarea și clientul nu-și pot exercita dreptul la apărare”, a reclamat Vasile Gafton.
Pe holurile instanței este prezent și deputatul socialist, Grigore Novac, care alături de mai mulți deputați ai Blocului „Comuniștilor și Socialiștilor” au depus garanții personale, în scris, la Judecătoria Chișinău, sediul Ciocana, pentru eliberarea din arest a lui Alexandr Stoianoglo.
„Nu trebuie să ascultați discuțiile dintre avocat și client, este vorba despre intimitate. Asigurați un proces echitabil și transparent. Faceți din nimic atâta tam-tam. Lăsați ei să discute acolo, nu intrăm nici noi. Este un drept al lor”, i-a reproșat Novac procurorului Victor Furtună.
