Fostul președinte Igor Dodon, plasat în arest la domiciliu pentru 30 de zile într-un dosar cu patru capete de acuzare, știe deja că Agenția Națională pentru Reglementare în Energetică (ANRE) va accepta solicitarea „Moldovagaz”, filiala „Gazprom”, de a majora tariful la gaz din 1 iunie până la 24 de lei pentru metrul cub.
Mai mult, acesta afirmă că gazul va costa în toamnă 30 de lei, iar benzina – 40 de lei.
„Cu ce scop am fost reținut? Primul e de a sustrage atenția de la problemele din republică. Peste două zile, tariful la gaze va fi de 24 de lei. Benzina costă acum 31 de lei litrul. Pentru a sustrage atenția de la toate aceste lucruri, ei au început dosarele penale împotriva mea. Dar vreau să-o întreb pe Maia Sandu pe cine va pune la pușcărie la toamnă, atunci când gazul va fi 30 de lei cubul, iar benzina – 40 de lei? Iarăși mă vei pune la pușcărie? Trebuie să aveți oleacă de rușine”, a spus astăzi Dodon, după ce a fost eliberat din izolator.

Dodon este învinuit de corupere pasivă, trădare de patrie, finanțare ilegală a partidului și îmbogățire ilicită.
